Name this tune!

Haven't watched the link, but I gues you're referring to 'O Fortuna' by Carl Orffe. It's from a choral work called Carmena Burana.

What? You haven't watched, and thus not heard the song I'm on about, so you're basing your guess on "epic song that's well known" to determine what particular song I'm on about?

Get out!

It sounds like Carl Orfs O'fortuna to me as well, as found in the film excalibur, and dozens of tv shows and adverts.

Yeah, I have the CD, went to see a Ballet of it in Birmigham a year or so ago, the first ballet I've ever been to, it was amazing, really modern and not at all like classical ballet.

i remember that song from the choir TV show where that guy got a load of people together and performed in the royal albert hall, shame i can't remember the name of the programme or the tune

Get a copy of 'Excalibur' on DVD, nothing's more rousing than watching the Knights of the Round Table galloping through the mists on their war steeds with O Fortuna playing in the background.
