Nameservers?

Hi,
I have very recently taken on a server with a different company than my domain name. I have entered the nameservers of the server company in the control panel of the domain name company.
When I add the account/domain into the cPanel WHM at the host, I then look in the 'Edit DNS zone' of WHM and find the domain has NS entries pointing at the nameservers of the company holding the domain name.

This is all a new world for me, could somebody tell me if this is how it should look?

In the Edit DNS Zone, change the nameservers to the nameservers you have set for the domain. They should/must be the same - the hosting company will have just created the zone with their defaults

I've done that, it's just a matter of waiting now I suppose.
