Naming all the F1 champions (and a JRS pedantic caveat...)

Part of the BBC F1 summer break page has a quiz that asks you to name all 33 F1 champions. Having completed it I of course then grumbled about it to the BBC via their contact pages. Because the World Championship was for Formula 2 cars in 1952 and 1953. And technically it wasn't the Formula One World Championship anyway before 1981 - it was the World Championship of Drivers (with the International Cup for Constructors alongside).

See, Hulme was the one I was struggling with for a minute and the last one I had to get. Still driving the hell out of GPL on my PC ~20 years after it was released, and I (briefly) couldn't remember who won the '67 title...embarrassing

By the way...

You have too much time on your hands.

Just so I'm clear, what was it that made you think that? The four-ish minutes that I spent on the quiz, or the three-ish minutes that I spent on a quick note of feedback to the Beeb?
