Hola.

I am after some new training shoes for the gym and have rather wide feet.

I’ve been recommended to look at Reebok nanos.

Does anyone know the difference between the nano x2 and the nano x2 Sn99?

£20 difference and I can find the sn99 variant in the size I want but the non sn99 variant only in plain black in my size, but I can’t find any info anywhere on what the sn99 variant is or why / how it differs.

Any in the know who can enlighten me? Or even any other recommendations for good weightlifting shoes for wide feet?

Thanks

Weightlifting as in Olympic style lifting? Or weight training?
I think the SN is more of an adventure / trail walking shoe. The Nano X3 have been out for some time now though which is maybe why you are struggling to find the 12's in stock, not tried X3 but I do have a pair of X2 and X and been through a few of the earlier series and they are great shoes. I prefer the newer Nike metcons however for general gym stuff / Crossfit and some weightlifting but if the workout has any running or treadmill work then I'll wear the Reeboks instead, the metcon is a bit harsh to run more than a few hundred metres imo. I feel the Reebok would be a wider fit and has a marginally bigger heel rise so I tend to wear them on a benching day but if you are wearing Air Max or something similar then either will feel like an improvement!
Like most things it's personal preference. Go try some on. The Metcon 9 is imminent so the 8's are on sale everywhere now. The Under Armour Tribase and the No Bull crossfit shoes seem popular too but I've not tried them. :)
