Well, we all know about the price hikes of memory :( and that Gibbo thinks they won't drop until after christmas....but me being as I am, want to buy now :p .

Currently I have x2 512 Corsair value Ram and x2 512 Elixir Ram (Nanya memory).

Just wondering if it would be better for me to get OCUK's 2gb Nanya memory kit to replace the Corsair as I plan on doing some overclocking, nad I'm thinking the same ram works better than a mix matched set up.

I don't really fancy spending an extra £30 to get the more Corsair memory, or is that a bad way to think.

On a side note, if the memory price increase is to do with demand, how come DDR memory has increased in price as well as DDR2??

Get the geil value if you want value meory and want to overclock. Many people get 230mhz out of these. Your best off with low latency sticks though if you want to overclock - the best are the corsair 3500ll - my 2gb kit does 240 2,3,2,5 no probs and havent tried any higher
