Ok the main problem atm with my screen is it constantly blacks out. For seconds or longer atm. Been trying to figure out what is causing it through some testing etc, just need some ideas.

Monitor:
Hanns G 28"
1920x1200
DVI to HDMI

Testing:
Monitor plugged in to another pc, new power cable, same HDMI. No problems any more.
Back on main pc, new power cable, same HMDI. Still blacking.
New power cable, same HDMI, swapped with the gfx card connector the 2nd screen is in. No difference, still blacking.
Lower Res. Major corruption more frequent blacking.
Analogue cable instead of HDMI. distortion on picture, then perminant black out.

Now I just need some advice on what could cause it to work fine on the 2nd pc downstairs but not up here!

PC spec if needed:
amd X2 6000
6gb ram
4890 1gb

Plz someone give me some ideas :p I'm now reduced down to 2x 22" screens which feel like childrens toys compared to a 28"!

Drivers were updated to latest recently. I dont have another gfx card slot in this machine :( Also wouldnt I notice issues on the other monitors plugged in to it?

When you tested the monitor on the second pc were you able to place it under the same conditions as you would have on the main pc. When not under stress it may behave diff on the second PC. If you tested it and it worked well with the exact same cables then it can only be the main pc and gpu. Are you able to put the gpu in the second pc and test again?
