Hi all,

ok, i'm looking for a decent NAS box to go in the loft. But i want it to print serve too, which is fine as long as i find the right box, but obviously sticking the printer in the loft is not an option, and usb is only good for 5m max. cable length.
Does anybody know of a connectivity solution for this?
Is it possible to have some sort of USB > RJ-45 convertor or similar?

Thanks for any advice offered. :)

ive used a RJ45 to USB converter when working with someones inet before so i guess they are available, but that was a while ago.

But, why dont you just buy a usb cable extender, they are available.
