Thinking of finally upgrading my Synology DS211J to the new DS218+. Was looking at changing the hard drives that I have had in the unit for a while to some 4TB ones.
I noticed Synology state the WD Red do not have vibration sensors. So I was looking at the seagate, I have eyed up either the Iron Wolf 4TB ST4000VN008 or the Barracuda 4TB ST4000DM004.
Any substantive differences in how they will perform.
