nas/network issue

I have a couple of 2tb WD My Book World NAS drives which are loaded up with music.

I was planning on giving them both fixed ip addressers, I was going to set the first one to 192.168.2.18, but for whatever reason I typed 192.168.1.18.

Now I can't access it at all.

WD finder can only see the other drive, I get the fact it doesn't appear in my computer as it would need remapping.

If I go to the control panel, network settings and view the network map I can see the drive, but if I click on it simply opens up a browser window and won't load.

If I log into my router it states within the DHCP server settings that the ip pool range is 192.168.2.2 to 192.168.2.100 - am I right in thinking I have simply set my nas out of range?

If so how do I change it again so it's back in range?

In the belkin setting for the DHCP server everything is greyed apart from the the last 2 and last 100?

If anyone could advise I'd be most grateful

Cheers

All sorted, I'd completely forgotten about the reset button on the rear panel which puts all ip settings back defaults. Both nas drives are now set up exactly the way I want them.

FWIW, and i am assuming you are using Windows,

I had a similar brain fart last year with my NAS.
You can assign a 2nd IP address to a network adapter.
Add the 2nd IP addy so the NIC is able to communicate within both scopes/subnets etc
