I have a netgear readynas duo rnd 2000 v2 configured for raid 1 with 2x 500gb hard drives. It is running as CIFS server and I access it via mapped network drive in windows 8.1 file explorer.
When i transfer a large file or folder the transfer rate drops off from around 20MBS to xx/kbs and sometimes stops after 500MB for a while and then continues after some time until another 500MB.
I have changed switch and all network components as I thought it may be some quota or bandwidth restriction but I still have the same problem.
When I run wireshark it shows "tcp segment of a reassembled pdu" at the same time as i get the slow down.
Anyone have any ideas please?
