I'm looking into getting a 2-bay synology NAS for my neighbours to backup 2-3 pc's and act as a centralised media storage.
The problem is as their house is huge and they have thick stone walls they have 2 internet lines (different providers). The NAS would be attached to the 'main' line which is for the work pc - will the other pc's be able to stream the media via web and will it be slower than direct network access?
Can you see any other problems that could arise?
Thanks
