We are revising our DR plan and will be having our servers replicated off site in an almost real time environment.

The plan is to back the servers up to a NAS which will then push the incremental backups down to a remote server(s).

I've been looking at either Synology or a Qnap but there seem to be so many to choose from.

We need storage space of around 5-6Gb in Raid5 format.

Any suggestions?

Budget can be a max of £5-6k

Current data usage is around 900Gb if did a full (not incremental) backup

Data seems to be growing by around 50-75Gb per year as a guestimate.

We backup 7 servers using Acronis 11 to a 1Tb external hdd which is then taken off-site. We use a weekly cycle of hdd.
