Pinch and yoink - painful and not terribly efficient.

Battery powered rotary cutter. Works but looking for a better option.

Leave it alone and let it all hang out. Walrus style.

Flamethrower. Haven't tried this yet but would be interested in your findings. Beta testers wanted

It's not actually too bad. I was in Turkey in March, hadn't had a chance to get a haircut before going and there was a barber in the hotel. Got nose and ears done, a sharp sting then it was done. They are needing done again though
