Is this game hard to get hold of or something? I just sold it on ebay for £41, seems odd as I only bought it for £10 a few years back, it had loads of watchers as well. Did i miss something?
KnightStalker said:yes this game, was the last of the Nascar games made by Papyrus, this was the ultimate Nascar racing sim, used by real Nascar drivers to race normal people online for fund raisers, there's also a bundle of mods, updated physics, models of the cars for the game to bring it up to speed
it has GT cars, Nascar Trucks, all sorts for mods, and its gold dust for anyone that has a copy, sell it, and rake it in
KnightStalker said:are you being serious that janimox was your friend? dude he was talented in making paint schemes for these cars, i mean right down to the last detail in rivets, i so wish i had my copy, lost it years ago, still got the 2002 one though lol
Here you go...Sone said:still got my copy, might go on ebay tonight though
There's a load of sites out there and leagues still running NR2003 so the best place to look is Google, but the league I run with is at http://www.justracin.net and Jr's truck league is at http://www.dmp-trucks.com/
http://www.simracingnetwork.com/ is a very good effort to bring live coverage for races online for all to see. And so on and so on...
We didn't quite get the purer GT cars for NR per say (I mean FiA style GT or petit Le Mans). Officially we had the American Trans Am series, Craftsman trucks, Busch Grand National on top of the original Nascar cup series. Other mods for it of note included team Redlines GTP mod, a dirt track mod, the US pits 80's aerowar mod and 70's mod, the OWR (open wheel racing) mod, a dirt modified's mod and a few other stragglers.
The best write up for Papyrus without having to read an epic is probably the piece here http://uk.gamespot.com/features/6103365/?sid=6103365
