There are no decent dedicated modern Nascar games as such, they are all pretty terrible apart from NR2003 which is dated as hell now but still the best offline nascar experience by far.

The best experience you'll currently get is iRacing which is fully sponsored, has every track and covers all the series (trucks, nationwide and cup series). You might even run into some real life Nascar drivers who use it for practicing, I've been in a couple of races with Earnhardt Jnr and Kyle Larsen in previous years. It's subscription based though and expensive but it's pretty much the only option for anyone wanting a serious nascar experience. They are adding AI in the near future as well.

If you after an actual Nascar game specifically then I can't help - ie: actual cars, tracks, drivers, championship format, etc...

If you after a game with racing on looped circuits that have a bit of paint-trading and bumper bashing then you could do worse than check out Wreckfest. It's early access, but they finally appear to have started putting meat on its bones and it's in beta phase at the moment.

Please note however that not all circuits are loops or contain them.

I was looking at mascar heat but was undecided till I heard from someone about it. Seen it on steam but thatsem to be the only on I can find, I seen nascar15 also by seens to just be dlc’s for it and not the actual game, not after anything real sim or anything just lik a game where I can do
All the races go through a championship ect, I’ve got the expansion for Pcars that I play and enjoy just wandered if there was a more dedicated game. I’ll maybe give what a go then. Not sure about any other platforms I mainly just deal with steam

Think I’ll try heat, has anyone used oceanofgames? Seen all of YouTube videos about it? Seems you can download a lot of iso images from it. Can’t get on to look though as the internet has restricted all fun sites offshore :rolleyes:

Thanks for that! Every little helps, yeah I was just away to add that. 25% off takes it down a bit to. £20 is usually my max for games. If it’s over £20 I just wait a week or 2 and It seems to drop down a bit. Only game I payed extra was pcars2 deluxe but I even got that for sub £40

I’ve ordered it and once I get home on the 3rd first thing I’ll be doing I firing it up to both m desktop and laptop

Always been a fan of NASCAR, but been waiting for a decent price, surprised myself at the deal you can get, so might go for it on payday.

Hows it running? Whats the racing like? Id be using a pad, so that could be a hindrance for me.

Yeah I know I’ve seen myself lately buying the nascar expansion packs for games like pcars and forza 6 so this will be good to have a proper game of it. unfortunately im. It due back onshore till Monday but I will keep you up to date with what I think. I’ll be using my Xbox one pad that’s what I game on as well can’t get the hang of keyboard/mouse gaming. I’ve tried a few times. I have a wheel but nowhere to set it up properly :mad:
