Nat type: Stict

I've now enabled DMZ Host to enable for my Xbox Live. I now get Open in Xbox Live. What is the advantage of having it open?? Have no idea what it means!

Someone will go into more detail but in laymens term you should now be able to join games easier because your ports are open. However having the DMZ open could leave you open to attacks. You could have given your xbox dedicated ip then open the required ports on your router for the xbox's ip.

I have opened the relevant ports, but still get Nat Stict. I thought the disadvantage was I could never be the host. I always connect no problems.

I doubt there is any possible or worthwhile way that anyone could or would "attack" an xbox.

Now DMZ on a pc is another matter but not an xbox.
