NAT!

Hi all,

I have two 360's connected wirelessley to my Belkin F7D4401 router.

I can never get both 360's NAT set to open, usually mine I set to open by putting it's IP into the DMZ. I use a static IP for my 360.

The other 360 is just on DHCP.

Why, intermittently is my 360's NAT going to either strict or Moderate? What else can I do to stop this? I usually have to reboot the router, or put my 360's IP back to DHCP but then it will pick up a different IP to that which is in the DMZ.

Any tips?

The annoying thing is, the 360 appears to prefer being in DHCP so I reserve an IP on my router. Restart the 360 and it picks up another address :/

This is what got me thinking is the wireless dongle's MAC different to the Ethernet of the 360 but apparently not? So why the hell won't the 360 pick up the reserved IP!

Thanks buddy. Very much appreciated.

In the meantime, is there anyway to tell if a port has been forwarded correctly?
