National Anthem

Was anyone else quite humbled last night that all 11 players were singing the national anthem?

I was.

This will be the case for the first few games.

Our national anthem is such an uninspiring dirge anyhow, its got nothing on the Russian or German National anthems.

He's had stick for it before, if I was him even if I didn't care you might as well lip read it.

I wish they would change the anthem and England could have their own.

No! I agree with you. He's a disgrace. My comment about him being only being a spectator was meant as a jab against him, not defending him.

We do have our own Anthem it's called 'Land of hope and glory' at least that's what our anthem is in the commonwealth games.
