My team is Oldham Athlete is facing Braintree Town.

I'm not sure if we've ever played each other before. Braintree has a better record coming into the game. So it's going to be a tough game for us.

Is there anymore National League team supporters around here? Who is your opening game against?

I’m a United supporter myself, but back in 80’s I used to go and watch Altrincham, Tommy Doc being one of their most high profile managers. Still keep an eye on how they do.

Opening game of the season is against Chester.

Bit gutted. Having moved from Chorley to Alicante.

Friday night had a friendly between the two in Alicante. It would’ve been enjoyable ti watch but only found out about it this morning.

Oldham had a good opening game, 3-0 against Braintree. I'm pleasantly surprised as I thought it would be a difficult game.

Rochdale, over the hill, also got a 3-0 victory against Boston United.
