Not sure if any of you chaps can help with this.

The above monitor is a 20 inch panel and supports native resolution of 1680 x 1050. I am running an XFX 8800 GTX card with latest driver for xp.

My problem = Within the video options for BF2 the max resolution shown is 1280 x 1024. I do not have the option to go higher than this resolution for some reason.

When I installed bf2 originally I have a 17 inch Dell flat screen which supported 1280 x 1024 as its max resolution. I was wondering whether it was picking up these details from my HD as that was the hardware available at time of installation?

This would not appear to be the case however as I have uninstalled BF and reinstalled with the new (20 inch) screen but alas, the max resolution still shows 1280 x 1024.

My desktop allows for 1680 x 1024 - albeit at a lower refresh rate but I cannot get the option up to run my beloved BF at these settings.

Grateful for any advise out there. I would dearly love to see my beloved in all its full pixel glory. :D

Any takers here guys :(

Need to know why my native resolution (1680 x 1050) is not available within my BF2 video settings. The disc that comes with the monitor is primarily geared towards the in-built web cam and therefore there is no driver as such to load.

Thoughts greatly appreciated as I'm baffled by this ;)
