I've got a free copy up for grabs as I preordered the game months ago. Its official release date is just under a weeks time but it's currently in a playable state.
For those who don't know anything about it, its a multiplayer hybrid FPS/strategy game where the players are split into 2 teams who go about trying to eliminate each other. Each team can build base structures, collect, resources, research upgrades etc but both play very differently. One being the marines, the other an alien species whos skills mainly rely on getting up close and personal for the kill. Each team also has a commander who has a top down view of the map and decides which upgrades are purchased, structures are placed and can also assist team members on the ground.
Its plays quite similar to the first Natural Selection which was a popular free Half Life mod released back in 2002 in that the aliens life forms you can evolve into are the same. But theres quite a few changes from the original, most notably both teams now have a commander, the aliens need infestation present to build base structures and the marines base structures require local power sources.
