For those of you not familiar with natural selection. It was one of the most popular Half Life 1 mods and combined the FPS genre with the RTS elements.
Think Starcraft meets Half Life and you will be pretty much there
 
I have such huge expectations of this game.

So scared I'm gonna be dissappointed. Unknown Worlds were great on the forums though, really took advice on board and implement masses of changes based on the player feed back.

Expect a lot of continued support on this one.

I pre-ordered and got my special edition key sent straight away, so I think the alpha beta could be very soon.
 
Got my preorder as soon as site went live, ns1 is probably the only game i play nowadays after all these years it fails to get boring.

Can't wait for the testing to start, it's gonna be great! Just hope the final release will come with a good tutorial mode for the new players, its not the easiest game to jump right into.

they wasent sure what they were going to do, at first it was HL2 engione, then they said they would wait for HL3 engine
 
Ah, I thought that they had cancelled this version. Think I'll buy this..I've been meaning to play the original for about a billion years.
 
NS was a great game. Usualy though i spent most of my time playing siege maps, i just found them very fun when playing with/against good players.
