Natwest current account gone.

Just noticed last night my current account with £300 in it has disappeared from my online banking (other accounts are still there). I'm going to phone them up tommorow as I cant seem to find a way to contact them until then. Has anyone else experiance this, and if so what was the cause?

I thought something iffy was going on when I was getting payment issues via paypal with an ebay item yesterday. I thought it might be some IT upgrades they are doing but I dont think it would take them this long.

My girlfriend had this happen in the week. Her account had tried to be used in Malta at a pharmacy. Natwest locked the account and replaced her debit card.

natwest are driving me wild with frustration - every single month they place that block on my account, and every single time i'm buying bloody petrol and have to stand there for an idiot for 10 minutes whilst they unlock it.. Wouldn't mind if they blocked big transactions, but £20-£40? and once a month, it's just rubbish.

Just found a number (0870 588 8444 actionline) to call and they put me through the fraud line and then unlocked it after a few questions. It was only a couple of ebay transactions for around £300 total they blocked me on.

I hate this, always happens to me. After scanning the card, cloning it and flying all the way to Malta or another lawless country they end up blocking it.
