Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone used Natwest's internet/telephone banking? I have been having issues every since opening an account with them.

Basically they ask you to setup a PIN and password to use to log in, which I have done (now multiple times after resetting) When you log in it then asks you for 3 characters of your password and 3 numbers from your PIN.

When I enter these, most of the time it says that they are incorrect, which the first few times I thought maybe I had entered them wrong. But it is happening so much, I've been checking 100% that I am entering the letters and numbers correctly and it still does not let me in.

Does anyone else get this issue?
 
Fine for me, i always look a right git counting out my password on my fingers, but no problems with the site.
 
RBS use the exact same system (seeing as they are basically the same bank) and I've only had issues with the service being down from time to time. Other than that, it's perfect.

It's likely your phone/you.

Are you continually picking the same pin/password?

Indeed. I can log in fine, it's most likely that you're counting the digits incorrectly.
 
Hmm strange. I have just reset it again and tried a different password. I was definitely entering it correctly. I even went as far as to write it down and put the number next to each character so I coudln't have counted wrong
 
Mine is fine most of the time, occasionally it asks me for the 15th character of my 14 character password though, which is a bit funky. I just refresh the page and its fine.
 
I find that if using on a mobile / tablet device that I have to wait a brief moment for the digit to register on the site before manually choosing the next box.

Are you pressing Enter/Ok before the last digit has registered? :)
