O hope releasing such garbage cpus is not what AMD has in mind when they are saying they will support am5 till 2026

Should not blame the customer. This is not the standard way for AMD to do products. They should be more forthcoming with how gimped this CPU is. It's a disgrace that the 5600 is a faster gaming CPU.
I, absolutely, would have assumed this was simply not "unlocked", and given how little I actually overclock manually any more, it would seem a sensible option to save a few quid - would have been very disappointed - definitely feels like a scam. If however, this turned out to be an old-skool binning thing, where they had switched off the APU core to sell more units, and they could be reactivated for a mini-win, this could have been my new favourite chip 
FYI: with Ryzen X doesn't mean unlocked, since they're all unlocked (apart from the X3Ds, which only have restricted OC).
With Ryzen 7000 the main thing it means (apart from the TDP) is that you don't get a coolerShows how little attention I have been paying - I always assumed 'X' was AMD's version of K.
