NAZ and Mozy?

Hi Chaps,

Looking at getting a NAZ but started to wonder how I was going to back it up.

Another key element is that the data is held in the UK and in a worst case scenario, that we can get the data sent over on disk via courier.

Anyone already got something like this running?

If you google "Mozy NAS" the answer is in most of the results returned

Dependent on the amount of data that you need to have backed up... I'm pretty sure that a more local back-up solution could be suggested by the Enterprise guys around here.

We use Mozy (you mean the online backup?) at one of our sites, it works ok. It does a differential backup. The first backup will be the whole data selected and the following backups will only be changed files. It also does exchange db and ad and sql databases natively. Not sure if they were additional cost but it appears all integrated.

We backup about 30gb a night to it with total backup used of 200gb. Other sites with 2tb to backup, it probably would not be suitable.
