Hi Guys

The NB on my IP43 is 'cooking'. Its too hot to touch and passive. Its also a funny shape so getting a fan on there is not going to happen so I've pointed a spot cooling fan at it which has helped a little, but its still rather hot.

System is stable but I'd like to do something about it as it cant be good for it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

With my old P5N32-E the chipset ran so hot the NB heatsink started to discolour, i just use thermal sticky pads and stuck a 50mm fan on the original heatsink cooled it down by an awful lot and allowed for more overclocking head room.

:( i miss that board! :(

Is there any way you screw a 60mm or 80mm fan to it? Or jam some M3 bolts between its fins?

I had a look at screwing into the gaps on the NB but i've tried M3-M6 with no joy, also no flat surface to stick something too :(

Maybe I'll have to do the Water thing... such a shame lol :D
