Hi,

does anyone know how to monitor NorthBridge temps within windows?
is there an application?

reason im asking is cos it gets very hot and im wondering if the (very) noisy fan ive got pointed at it can be lost.

thanks

ali

Like johnerz said everest good for all the system temps. The northbridge of that board does get really hot on that board though, when I was using it 67-70C was the norm.

My 780i SB and NB always hang around the 55c mark and they are never more then 1-2c apart from each other. That's with a 80mm fan blowing onto the main NB heat sink:)

From that pic it seems that it has not got a northbridge temp sensor that can be read in windows though think I read somewhere that it can be checked in the bios or something. Not sure tbh.

yer i does have one in the bios. but its annoying that i cant monitor it in windows as its quite worrying seeing as it runs soo hot. lol
