So, summer camps and summer leagues up soon with the new season not too far away, how is everyone seeing it shaping up?

Heat are looking real contenders in the East now they've secured Wade/Dragic and Deng. Real good line up with Bosh/Deng/Whiteside/Dragic/Wade and Winslow was a magnificent draft move.

Surprised the Cavs have let Smith go, bad temperament but adds a lot to the side.

Mavs contenders now with Jordan and Matthews added.

TWolves really need to start contending with the draft picks they've added this off season.

If Alridge ends up at the Spurs  Thunder did some tidy business too.

Looking forward to the season, one of the highlights though not wanting to get ahead of myself is this post season with talks of Durant ending up in Washington. Him with Beal and Wall would be pretty special!

What are everyone's thoughts so far?

KD is going nowhere any time soon. Said in an interview a couple of months back that he wants 35 retired in OKC which is fine with me! :D

Hoping we can bring in another effective big man. Kanter put in a great shift when we acquired him but doesn't have the experience playing in high-calibre team so a backup would be brilliant. Still need to get that bench strengthened though.

Rockets are bringing back Beverly and looking after the rest of the team too. Happy with that because a few less injuries would have made us quite dangerous!

LA has indeed gone to the Spurs who have probably just won free agency and the league again :p

Well they drafted (wizards I mean) Durants best bud out of college this year and I believe he is a Washington state native. It could happen! :D

Lamarcus going to Spurs  they have the league sewn up already then :p
Even with lower production from the fundamental, Parker and ManU they are scary with Leonard and Aldridge.

Didn't the Suns ship half their team to make a play for him as well? :D or was that Cousins?

Near the end of his career then yeah, I could see it happen. They've built up a fantastic team in OKC and to risk losing that would be ridiculous. We've been title contenders for the past 5 or so years (minus last season due to injuries!) whereas the Wizards lack that experience of a deep playoff run and honestly don't think KD would do well there because all the pressure would be on him.

KD's posts on Instagram makes me think he's going nowhere soon.

If the Spurs can get another big name, I reckon they'll run away with it this year.

The Clippers don't have a center and are looking at McGee.

They have next to no cap space something like $2.2m to sign a center. :D

Low risk for the Clippers by picking him up though and Chris Paul has a good history with getting solid work out of centers that play with him, not that hes had to deal with anyone this inconsistent, add Doc Rivers to that and this could be a good opportunity for JaFail. Not many other options unless they look at trading away JJ Reddick.

Yeah things like that have me in bits. That and his dream of running the break :D

I'd still like to see someone like Popovich coach him - could be forged into something special I feel :)

hes just one of those guys, can be brilliant sometimes but his awareness and IQ is so low sometimes you can see why coaches give up on him. If he can get his awareness level raised then he can be a solid 10 point 10 rebound center which is all the clippers need

the news from the Clippers is that they are taking a look at Amar'e too, not really been a beast since 2011 or so but could provide some sort of offence, which isnt really what they need. % years ago no, but now i think id take a game on JaVale over Stoudemire even though Amar'e is only 32 but injuries for Stoudemire have been pretty bad of late.

Also big talk of the Cavs trying to beef up to avoid the same fate as last season by picking up Joe Johnson and sending Hayward the other way with will free up loads of cap room for Brooklyn as they can wave Haywards 10 mil non guaranteed contract before august which will free up about 35 mil, which can also give the Nets a chance to try and push to include Varejao in the deal and afford to keep them both if they want to. The Cavs luxury tax will take a huge hit though but will show the league they mean business. I know the Cavs were or still are looking at Crawford too but that would mean keeping hold of Varejao and the luxury tax will still take a big hit, especially seeing as the Cavs want both both J.R Smith and Dellavdova to re-sign.

Also, looking forward to seeing Bjelica play with Rubio :) Quick hands for a 6ft 10 guy, can shoot from deep, great positioning, super confortable with putting the ball on the floor and running to the basket, rarely rushes a shot and really knows how to work the floor. Rubio is gona love playing with him and I think thats why they got him. Euroleague MVP!! Just really hope Bogdan Bogdanovic follows him and he was in Phoenix recently so there is a chance :)

Holy **** has anyone seen the news about West

Taking a $9million pay cut to sign with the Spurs so he can push for a title before his career is up. What an amazing move for the Spurs and pretty respectable by West giving up that much coin to win a title. I'll bet there's a gentlemans agreement in there that when Manu/fundamental move on he'll resign and pick up some of their money.

I'm calling it now. Spurs title, season over, let's just jump to 2017!

I'm excited to see the TWolves too next year, but they always flatter to deceive so no great hopes there.

Yeah we've been saying this the last 3 years or more "the Timberwolves will make the playoffs will be more than capable of causing an upset"... every damn year :) and I'm gona agree with you this year and I cant wait to see them... why do I let myself look forward to seeing them. :p
