NC10 wireless

I have a 5300 (draft N, not WiMAX) on order, just waiting for the slow boat...

I did consider the 5350 but it was twice the cost and so didn't seem worth it given the limited coverage.

can you let me know when you get it if it is better
im considering it as well because i dont think the one in it (atheros?)
is very reliable

Received my 5300 and have just fitted it. First unscrew all 14 screws, the only one you don't need to touch is the one on the memory hatch. Use a good quality screwdriver of the correct size as a few people have managed to strip the heads on the screws. Then use a thin credit card to separate the two halves of the case, the trickiest part is at the rear of the case between the silver hinges. You have to pull enough to slip the card in and then slide it along to release the plastic clips. Be patient and go slow, don't rush it or you risk snapping something!

Once you are inside, actually fitting the card is a breeze, as is fitting a third aerial. Once everything was back together I powered on and Windows 7 automatically detected the card and installed the drivers.
