Hey guys, whilst looking for a car I had LV send me a replacement letter of no claims in case any insurers asked for it. Now I had my policy with them from Nov '06 to '07 and that is it, but the letter states a discount of "62.5%, equivalent to 2 years"

Now are they implying that this is only applicable to another of their policies? And would it be fraud if I were to say that I had 2 years NCB to another insurer?

Thanks

Just asked my dad who is involved in building insurance and he's more than happy that I can use it on any other policy.

Thread can be closed thanks.

Why not just call them and ask?

It could be one of those incentive schemes where they give you a bonus year NCD whilst you are with them.

if it states you have 2 years NCB then you can use it elsewhere, if it states you have a discount thats equivalent to 2 years, then thats a discount not actual NCB

I'd check carefully that another insurer will accept it as ncb is generally considered expired when it hasn't been used for 2 years.
