So I'm looking for some alright-ish ND Grad filters (no need for pro quality, but decent enough quality). I'm not sure on a budget because for some reason I'm finding it hard to find many around to gauge how much they cost.

I've only seem super cheap Cokin ones or very expensive Tiffin ones (but even the Tiffin ones don't really seem to be commonly available and the thread size I want isn't available at all).

Which ones are commonly used by you guys? And where did you get them from?

Formatt Hitech filters are supposed to be the best 'budget' filters. The Cokin Z-Pro filter holder is supposed to be pretty good too.

Ive got a three set of Hitech soft edge grads. They are really good for the price. The one and two stop filters(.3 and .6) work well. the three stop filter has a slight purpley cast to it.

Im guessing that I was using the .9 Grad for this shot. or maybe the .3 and .6 stacked. Was awhile ago ;) This is an unedited converted raw. Rather under exposed so the colour cast stands out a bit more. https://www.dropbox.com/s/jngb1bzsab1e0ic/IMG_6285.jpg

From what I have seen they are a good bit better than the Cokin's

I upgraded to the Lee system with Hitech filters when I went full frame. I'd previously been using Cokin P stuff. I'd definitely recommend it.
