Near death experience

I don't think thats near death lol...
I once flew through the air in a car, rolled a couple of times then skidded along on the roof, and tbh I didn't think it was even close to a near death experience.

My parents once ended up in high winds driving at lands end and the car got blown very close to the cliff edge, they honestly thought they were going to die, you could tell after because they were so pale and could hardly talk, I would say that is more like it.
 
Hmmmn. Not even a near dying experience fortunately ;) On a NDE am I correct in assuming one presumably is dead albeit for a very short time?

As mentioned a while back I collapsed in a busy street out shopping and was later diagnosed as having a pulminory embolism- and that is as close 2 death as I would ever "like" 2 get :eek:

I have the same near-death experience every time I walk down the stairs. :D

I nearly bit the bullet with subacute hypothermia in Finland. Didn't really know it at the time though and don't really count it as near-death.
 
Wipe a cloth with washing up liquid on the inside of your visor...do that every few days and it will never steam up again!

Though really, you shouldnt ever ride again... You were pretty damn silly there...

I have a near death experience every day. On my way walking to and from college I have to cross this motorway slip road which leads of a 3 lane one way road. There is a row of shops next to this and so lorries, vans and cars are always parked in a way that you can't see what cars are indicating to come up the slip road (this and the fact many drivers don't use their indicators!:( ). The worst thing is that these drivers speed up as they are turning off despite the fact that they can't see if people are crossing or not so most are doing 45-55mph. So I have to check my shoe lases and make a run for it and just hope for the best. I've been so close to having some cars hit me that they have swerved to avoid me.

Other near death experiences include our old house having 5 shots fired at it and an attempted pipe bomb attack (separate incidents) while we were sleeping. The joys of living in Belfast :(.

Been there, done that. Rode miles home in the snow and ice. Got to my drive, thinking wow that was nasty. And fell off.
