Just had this thought and figured may as well share - feel free to point out any glaring holes...

I have clients in the UK who send me work via a shared Dropbox - they drop the scanned docs in - I draft the document and save it in the Dropbox - they get it and send it out.

I personally prefer Dropbox for the file-syncing aspect over SkyDrive for the sharing options, the audit and recovery trail as well as it seems a bit more user friendly for the basic file-sharing option. I looked at Office 365/Sharepoint but that seems waayyy too complicated :p

However, I also like the idea of the SkyDrive Web Apps to allow me to edit Word and Excel documents with flawless WYSIWYG conversions (something that Google Docs doesn't do sadly)

So on my 'always-on' file server at home I have a folder which is shared both as a Dropbox and as a SkyDrive - that way I can edit files on the go wherever I need through SkyDrive, but as soon as I save it it syncs to Dropbox and my client..quite neat!

*awaits welll duhhh or 'oh noes you fool y u do that?' :p
