Ive had one for over 12 months and paid nowhere near £800

I got mine for £220 plus I gave my few yr old Dell 24" in exchange.
Live my NEC, just need to tune it better
This is meant to be brand new from a retailer.
Did they not go for £400 plus when in stock from OCUK - these where the ones which NEC where making a loss on - are they not?

I gotta say fulcrum, cheers for the heads up. I just bought one now - I too am intrigued as to what will arrive.
It looks like it is brand new (3 year warranty advertised), so it may be a bit of a bargain. Looking at the storefront it sees legit and well regarded. If not, its bought through a big store - so be can always DSR it if required.

Damn, just got a call saying that it was a barcode error - they don't even carry that monitor.

I paid £350 for this from Overclockers a year ago.
Gutted..... it's a brilliant monitor.

Wow - paid £400 from here last year - great monitor.
Actually thinking of going down the triple screen eyefinity route and was looking at 3 cheaper TN panel 23 inch screens but 2 more NEC`s for that sort of money would be irresistable. Quite thick bezels though.

I bought one from OcUK about a year ago for around £400, but wanted another one, however, OcUK had stopped selling them by June (2009), but was able to source one in Germany, which cost me a bit more than the one I bought from OcUK...for me they have been an excellent monitor...lovely to use.
I got the email from them. Said it was supose to be a speak system. BUGGER.
Oh well worth a go.
