Aren't these DLP? Everyone on the comments section is asking about the .02ms response time, DLP would explain that (and the large back). Unless we're going back to CRT's, I can't see it being anything else. Supposedly it's LED backlit too.

Still, I think 3840*1200 would have been better, with dual DVI cables. Not dual-link cables, but two physical cables, and two seperate screens stitched together (WITHOUT A SEAM). Unless it was possible to get that res on a dual link DVI cable, but I know 1920 pushes regular DVI, and dual-link isn't double the speed.

Awesome looking screen - not sure I could sneak that past the missus though! Imagine the size of the damn box...
