I really like the blue power led on my NEC monitor and it inspired me to add some slight touches to a few other components/ periperherals.

Same with my computer case, which came with blue led's as standard.

What do you think.

First off,
Silver Pioneer DVD drive, shame it had a white cd tray.

Silver bezelled pioneer now with silver tray (bezel and tray re-sprayed for
colour match)

Blue is good. Blue is good.

Yes had to be said twice.

I really like the monitor one.

flash used which killed LED brightness. Dont know why I did that.

yep monitor one is good and the best.

I've just tried to immitate it as best I could. They look better in the flesh though although perhaps a little bright.

The monitor LED brightness is also adjustable which is a simple but nice touch I think. :)

Very nice...blue led's rawk. If doing something like this, check the resistance, as I blew a CD drive a few years by adding a blue LED

Blue is good, red is better

Nice mods though

Nah, red always seemed too "in your face" for me, blue is timeless and cool . Blue cathode + blue led system>Red cathode + red led system!

Other way around! Blue is far too common. The whole world and his wife has a gadget with a blue LED in. :p

Well, I was'nt about to dismantle a new NEC monitor and changing it from blue, so it was a case of modding the keyboard and drive instead. :)

Just thought it would look smarter if all the led's were the same colour.

I like the blue LED. Does the DVM annoy you when web browsing?

Yes it does, only use the feature in games now. Its the only problem I have with the screen. If your on the desktop and you open my computer its so in your face, I find it irritating.
