Has anyone got 1 of these.

I want to use PC plus xbox360 via HDMI and this looks good spec but havent seen any reviews.

Are NEC usually pretty good monitors?

Also considering Dell ultra sharp, samsung 245b and Hyudai w24dpva or TN.any others worth looking at?

using a sammy 32" lcd TV at the moment but want higher resolution.

thanks

frankly, i've seen lg, dell(a bunch), relysis, several samsungs, several NEC's, and a bunch of others. personally i've had and recommended sorted out buying a bunch of NEC's that i think were simply higher quality than other brands. samsung, nec are generally VERY VERY good. of the few NEC's i've had, they've been great for gaming, including my first 17" way back when with a 25ms spec, it was just awesome, fantastic brightness compared to everything back then, great contrast, even lighting, it was just the perfect screen except for size. my parents still use it, tis a great screen.

i haven't had a new NEC in a couple years, but with 4-5 years use before that i would have rated NEC as THE best lcd monitor manufacturer. in the end the same panel with different lighting, different electronics and different connectors can look completely different. I'm really struggling between getting a £230 24" cheapo ocuk screen and praying, and getting almost a 50% more expensive TN panel because its a NEC screen.

I have seen this for arond £300 delivered and I am considering buying it. I have seen a Samsung for abour £3t more and Asus for £30. I want to use it for my PC and also my PS3 and £300 seems a good price.

I've just got this one : NEC MultiSync® LCD2470WNX 24" Widescreen Professional LCD Monitor - Black. Yep it's the expensive one. I bought it for my company :)

Have to say it's an awesome monitor.

No dead pixels, great viewing angles, worked straight out of the box, very bright ... very very impressed.

It's a bit chunky, but overall brilliant.

Might get more NECs, not the Dells in future.

I've got the 20.1" pro screen, I'm blown away by it, built quality is fantastic! I'm glad I went with the NEC over the 24" OCUK panel.:)

So yeah, I would recommend an NEC panel
