NEC Monitors

I've currently got the Samsung 226bw and was looking to upgrade to a 2443bw because I prefer teh 1920*1200 resolution. Unfortunately these look like they have been discontinued but I did run across NEC monitors as an alternative.
My question is has anyone used NEC monitors and what are they like compared to Samsungs? They seem to be a lot more expensive too

NEC do a lot of high end monitors, a few aimed at the professional market, so their monitors are usually very good but at the expense of your wallet.

Have a look out for the 2443DW, it's the updated version of the 2443BW, with the biggest difference being it has a DisplayPort. It's still pretty hard to find though and for it's current price, you might be better off looking at the HP ZR24w.
