going to buy one of these but undecided which one, have seen the Dell my mate has it and i liked what i saw a very nice screen

just wondering if anyone has used both of these and can compare and say hands down which one will be the best for Artwork / photo / games. image sharpness and color is very important, speed not so much but the input lag on the Dell is slightly concerning.

want to see the NEC screen for myself at some point before i buy so might take a trip to London soon and have a look down TCR. ;)

If you're doing photo and art work have you considered the pros and cons of wide gamut vs regular gamut? That could be important for your uses. The NEC is more of a multimedia screen and has all kinds of extra features and options for video and gaming so might be a better option if you decide standard gamut is more suitable for you
 
i just want a sharp crisp screen just as good as the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP screen i saw at my friends house yesterday. i heard that the NEC was almost as good and does not have as much input lag as the Dell so is good for gaming to. i cant afford a pro screen at £700 but want one for the odd game aswell. its hard to find a monitor that will do all and still have the sharpness and clarity i need, hoping the NEC would be this one.

these were the best monitors i can probably get im just tring to get all the info i can from people who have actually used them.
