NEC or HP or something else?

Hey guys,

I have been flicking through some of the user comments on the forums, and am really stuck on which monitor to buy.

This monitor will be primarily be used for: (in order)

Work (Unix Admin) lots of terminal/text console based work on a Macbook pro (latest edition)
Gaming (FPS, MMORPG, and StarCraft 2 when its out!!!)
Video Editing / Photo editing Nothing major
Movies HDTV etc..

I currently have 3 iiyama AS4637 (They done make them any more but I have had them for atleast 5 years and am happy with them (so you can see I am not fussy).

However I got the iiyama when they first came out and did pay a lot of £££ for them.

Saying that there build quality is excellent no problems since I bought them. So I dont want to skimp out on this monitor.

Must be 24inch. I am looking at £600 MAX to spend let me know your thoughts.

Pretty much everything is covered in what you've read throughout the forum threads.

Im of a biased opinion and would say go for the NEC, especially considering the limited time price discount it currently has (was hovering around £620~ inc vat previously), don't think you could go wrong with any of the high end 24"ers.
