Newbie needing some LCD TV advice please
Hi all I’m looking for some advice please as I need to buy a new TV due to the arrival of my sons Xbox 360, my old 28” Panasonic I say old its 2 years old lol is CRT an can do 60Hz but at a price on your eyes and tones of head aches after
What I want to know is are some of these cheaper sets any good I have seen some really good ones on overclockers web site, the following 2 I thought looked really good but then again I’m new to this lol
OcUK Yusmart 32" HDTV at £365

I went to Hughes the other day which has helped as till that point I hadn’t really seen any LCD TV’s in action.
I thought that the 32” LE32R87BDX Samsung looked really good, and I was really surprised as I never rated the Samsung screens before, in fact I thought it put the Panasonic LCD TV to shame, which is saying something as Panasonic has been the make I have had for I don’t know how long now.
I know a lot of you hear will say get the Samsung, but its more than I can stretch too hence the 2 above that I have listed, and I need 1 due to the 360 and after the eye killing I got running my old CRT screen at 60Hz on Crack down and Gears of War cant put it off really.
As the main TV of the home it will also be used to watch Sky TV not HD just the normal stuff and then also DVD’s, I will use SCART to connect both of these to the TV and for the 360 just use the cable it came with, due to the optical output on the cable.
Sound isn’t a huge issue as I have a really good kit from Panasonic and the Sky box, DVD player and 360 are linked via the optical links to my amp (amp has 2 optical and 1 coax optical input)
So can anyone let me know if they have the above TV’s or if anyone can say look mate don’t buy them because it would really help.
