dont worry haj i know your are but can you guys give me a hand with adam_16v with his pc help thread please do not want him blowing up his pc lol
:D

Fair enough as your opinions, but would you care to detail why?

I had one ocz die, and it was replaced by a pc power and cooling. I don't mind much that it died

I had a Gamexstream 700w and the bloody thing blew up specatacularly after 10 days use. That got replaced by the Zalman which i have now. A little later i found out how little power my pc actually used.

Personally I think you'll be fine with these. For your processor though I think your choice is a bad move as the Q8xxx-series are NOT compatible with the XP-mode feature in Windows 7. Not that you'll need it, or even install Windows 7, but if you do wouldn't it be nice to know you future proofed yourself by buying a CPU that it works with. Stick with the Q6xxx-series or go to the Q9xxx-series.

PastyMuncher, what do you think of the Zalman. I've been looking at the 600W version of yours for a media center as it's supposed to be very quiet. Do you agree?
