I was planning on getting the same monitor, but like you said out of stock, said that on a thread and one of the guys from OcUK said they'd have some more soon, he suggested the viewsonic VX2260wm, looked it up has the same specs as the LG, seen some good reviews, it's cheaper so I ordered that instead.

yes m8 i thought about it but i want the lg one really...looks a lot better :D hopefully the stock comes soon!

If you're into competitive gaming I would have thought a 120hz panel would probably be what you're after? As far as I know there's only 3 available, the samsung being the most popular. Other than that the Dell 2209 gets great reviews if you want a slower panel with better image quality.

Comparison between the Dell 2209WA and the LG Flatron W2261V and Viewsonic VX2268wm, it seems the Dell has less input lag. Also, having checked the response times of the 2209WA against a few other faster labelled TN panelled monitors using the Lagom website, I've found the Dell the fastest, which leaves me very skeptical about manufacturer reported specs.

You want one of the 120hz ones, period.

Any other type would be just stupid. Anyone with any sense at all knows that digital verses is a load of crap with flawed comparison tests.
