this is my first conroe spec so please get somone to check its the best you can get with your money and that everything is compatible. I have chose the Antec case with the psu in because i read in a post that antec psu's are good.

Note: if anyone finds a fault in this (e.g not compatible or not the best you can get for the money) then can you please point it out to me as i am not really that good at this speccing :D :D

i only did the £850 spec as i want to see what people think before i do them all and screw up badly :D :D

i changed the RAM to DDR2 but is it good reliable RAM or not??? :D

I don't think I could do better than Trigger's £350 or £550 specifications so I'll leave them alone and I used the £850 as a basis for this but changing a few parts to ensure this one is pretty much bang on the budget with a far better graphics card :)

comp builder, the most glaring problem is that you have specified DDR Ram with a DDR2 compatible motherboard, other than that you are pretty much along the right lines I'd say :)

bit overbudget but u can overclock the cpu to easily to 2.7ghz if not 2.9. also theres a arctic cooling freezer 64 pro in there aswell to keep it nice and cool.

still probably not as good as triggers option but but just if you were to take the s939 route. ;)

The Ram is a good brand, I think PC6400 would match up with that CPU a little better but (and I don't know much about it) I think you could run a divider just fine if necessary.

Asus motherboards are generally known for stability more than overclocking ability and I might not bother getting the HIS card if the budget is tight, it is a good card with a great cooler but the stock cooler isn't bad either. :)
