need 4 gig

need 4 gig of ram to put in a Asus CROSSHAIR nForce 590 SLi with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6400+ Black Edition 3.20GHz

dont want to spend much so keep price down if possible but still want them to perform and do i got 4x1 or 2x2 not gunna oc it

Advise you read OCZ forums, not sure if its only tied to ASUS and EVGA NF680i's or any Asus mobo as of the Bios they mod for own use unlike Ref mobo.

I had to get rid of Reapers.

Yeah it's grand RAM.

And it should be fine in the Crosshair. There's nothing at the OCZ forums to suggest otherwise.

Thats why I said he should check not that there was an issue, it is prob Asus 680i related not purely Asus related. (There is an offical OCZ Thread on the matter with a modded bios offered).

The Crosshair and Striker E are both Buggy POS, owned both.
