Im after a socket 939 mobo to go with my AMD X2 im getting, but ive just got a X1950 Pro and want to use that.

Must be as much under £100 as possible!

Would be nice if it had a PCI-e slot as well so i could expand, and obviously SLI/Crossfire would be excellent but i doubt id get one :D

So, any recommendations?

Cheers

EDIT: Or would it be better to get a AM2 CPU?
If so any recomendations on which one?

I think you will be hard pressed finding a board with both AGP and SLI/Crossfire support.

Im currently using an Asrock 939 Dual sata board, which has agp and pci-e port. It also has a socket for an Socket AM2 board to go in. Not sure if you can still get it but its been a good board and it didnt cost me that much when I bought it.

I didnt think id get one with SLI/Crossfire.

I know this should be in the CPU but what would be better, a 939 X2 or a AM2 one?

Cheers

Neither, performance is very similar (in theory better upgrade path on AM2 though and there are already more models), only Core 2 Duo is clearly faster (and that is than both AM2 and 939). The drawback to AM2 is you'd need DDR2 memory so if your upgrading that'd be a problem.

If you wanted a Core 2 Duo there are DDR and AGP boards like this:
