Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a new 22 inch monitor to accompany a standard GTX 260.

I will be using it mainly for web browsing, reading ebooks and pdf's and gaming and hopefully watch blu-ray movies in the future as well.

I was thinking of getting this LG monitor:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-075-LG&groupid=17&catid=949&subcat=

However would my graphics card (GTX260) cope with games such as crysis warhead at 1920x1080?

Or would it be better to go with the Samsung T220 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-084-SA&groupid=17&catid=949&subcat=

This is of course 1680x1050!

My budget is £160 max.

I have the T220 and it's a brilliant monitor.

It is red, however, and wobbles at the slightest movement of the desk its on.
Great quality though and brilliant for the price. Not really a monitor guru so I havent a clue how good the LG one is

Thanks for the reply guys! Thats 2 for the Samsung T220.

Can anyone say anything about the LG Flatron W2261V and what that is like?

I think the whole internet thing has gone too far when you can't seem to find a place on the high street to take a look at something that we are going to stare at for a good few years!

I can't really compare for size as i'm one of few with a 15" TFT!

I'm thinking the HDMI may come in handy if i were to use the monitor on its own with a freeview box or whatever??

ye your 260 should be fine at those resolutions with crysis. ive got the 2233bw which i lvoe but i think its over 160, so ye id go for the t220, btw great price for what it is :D

have fun

I've just bought a T220 to replace the old Samsung Syncmaster 170w I had...

Fantastic picture quality, especially with moving images (I don't play games, but I do watch DVDs, etc), but the stand isn't the best...The touch sensitive power "button" (actually an area) takes a bit of getting used to, but works well enough...

I had a good look around before buying and, for the price, there wasn't anything else really that looked anywhere near as good...

I'd recommend it...
