Need a 2gb flash drive with protected USB connector

Been looking about at many different brands, but nearly all seem to have a flimsy cap, which can easily fall off or get lost, or are not concealed, so muck and dirt from your pockets can easily get into the connector.... in deed, we have got through 3 at work which have become faulty as they have no protection...

Seeing how they are portable devices, you would think they would be a bit more protected...

Anyone know of any good ones which offer a protected USB connector that is not exposed, yet dont have a lid that wille asily fall off and get lost...

Yeah.. was looking at that.. its currently top of my shortlist..however, the hole is still exposed, which would allow all the muck that collects in your pockets get into the connector... I believe its also very prone to scratches, despit having a titanium case.. and getting the keyring thingy on is a nightmare... however, the drive itself is meant to be good...
 
I've got a bog standard Cruzer Mini and I carry it everywhere with me. Must be going on for two years old now and I've never lost the cap or had any problems with it. And it even comes with three caps, so two spares for people prone to losing things.

Ultimately any lid could fall off and any retractable USB flash drive will always have an exposed hole. I'd go for something like the Cruzer Mini (exactly the same as the OcUK Value ones on offer this week) and take your chances.
