Need a 5930k CPU cooler for tomorrow!

My Swiftech 240x pump died last night, and Swiftech are doing an RMA but that involves them sending me a new pump via snail mail from the States and me fitting it myself.

So either i'm without a PC for a few weeks(!) or I buy an interim replacement cooler from Overclockers.

What is a good option? My 5930k was running nicely at 4.4Ghz but if I have to do without an overclock for a few weeks it's not really an issue.

Easy to install as well would be good, I can't be doing with taking the motherboard out or anything like that.

While it may not be the easiest to install, it's not hard to do.

Maybe borrow a cooler from someone? Where you located?

I have on of these keeps my 5820k idle around 35c and stress asus real bench around 72/73 with 4.2 ghz

You can pick up a cheap Arctic Cooling Alpine 20 PLUS CO for about £13. It does a decent job of cooling those cpus at stock. And they are VERY easy to fit so makes life easier. So Cheap, Does the job, easy to fit. Perfect for a temp solution.

It'll do for now, certainly doesn't compare to a Swiftech H-240x though. I did the same Overclock I usually run 24/7 for lolz and it went to 80°C+ and lasted about 2 mins in the Asus Realbench stress test.
